The purpose of the role initially is to deliver the Lottery funded programme including outreach to South Yorkshire and a befriending scheme; develop with Trustees a strategic plan and fundraising strategy for Jan 26 onwards and manage the staff team, paid tutors, student placements and volunteers. The postholder will enable the smooth running of the charity by managing staff, volunteers and interns, efficiently managing projects, ensuring the continued growth of the charity by securing funds, and contributing to raising the profile of the charity.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering programme outcomes in line with Lottery funding
Expanding the charity’s presence in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire
Managing and supporting a small multi-disciplinary team
Building partnerships and raising awareness of ME, Fibromyalgia, and Long Covid
We’re looking for someone with:
Strong leadership and project management skills
Experience in the staff management
Excellent communication and partnership-building abilities
A commitment to understanding and supporting people with long-term health conditions
