Role summary:
Volunteer Family Champions are key to providing families opportunities for learning and exploration. In this role you can run activities for families, including sports and crafts, and help shape the future plans for family activities.

What's involved?:
Helping families enjoy their visit by running crafts, trails and games.
Coming up with new ideas for family activities.
Find out about the different ways people learn and how you can meet the needs of different people.
Communicate with families and help them enjoy their visit.

A people person who really enjoys talking to families with a friendly and flexible attitude.

Learn more about Wentworth Castle Gardens so you can run activities linked with the site; this could be sports, crafts or guided walks for families!
Interact effectively with a wide range of family visitors.
Use yours skills to welcome and inspire family visitors.

and type in 'wentworth castle gardens. You can then fill in the application form on the role profile for your chosen volunteering opportunity. We will then invite you to an introductory session so that you can find out more about becoming a National Trust volunteer!

Skills and quaifications:

Extra Information

We’ll help you get to know Wentworth Castle Gardens with an introductory training session at the property.
We’ll cover agreed costs of your travel between home and Wentworth Castle Gardens (up to 30 miles per day return).
We’ll support you in the role with any necessary training.
Hours and shifts are flexible and there will be opportunities for you to volunteer with your family.
