Some of The Civic's volunteering activity supports our Community Engagement programme, which includes family theatre, arts and crafts workshops and other one-off events. This programme takes place in areas around Wombwell, Hoyland, Jump, Cudworth, Shafton, Thurlstone, Millhouse Green, Skelmanthorpe and Clayton West. Priority for recruiting volunteers for these events will be given to individuals residing in or close to our target postcode areas for engagement.
Roles will include helping to set up community theatre performances, assisting in workshops, staffing pop-up ticket desks and flyering.
We are happy to create opportunities based around your interests, skills, any aspirations you may have or skills you wish to develop.
Days required: Mon AM, Mon PM, Tues AM, Tues PM, Weds AM, Weds PM, Thur AM, Thur PM, Fri AM, Fri PM, Sat AM, Sat PM
Recruitment process: If you register interested in a volunteering role at The Civic, we will send you a short application form, in which you can tell us a little about yourself, your interests and any skills you may have or wish to develop.
We will then contact and/or arrange an informal interview with you and discuss which volunteering opportunities would be best suited to you.
