If this is you, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team, Our Volunteer Sales Assistants are welcoming and helpful with a can-do attitude, making customers feel welcome and supported to find the things they’re looking for, as well as assisting them to purchase their items at the cash desk.
Or maybe you'd rather be in our sort room? - Are you an organised person who likes things to be neat and tidy? Would you enjoy delving into our donations to uncover hidden gems and sorting into different categories? Whether you’re a lover of vintage clothing, stunning jewellery or enjoy reading and gaming, this is the role for you.

Days required: Mon AM, Mon PM, Tues AM, Tues PM, Weds AM, Weds PM, Thur AM, Thur PM, Fri AM, Fri PM, Sat AM, Sat PM

Recruitment process:

Potential volunteers can either call in, telephone or email us to arrange a taster session - this usually lasts 2 hours and is just an example of the kind of things that we do, to see if it is something that suits you. Volunteers would be asked to fill in a one page volunteer form upon their first volunteer day - this just asks for name and address, one referee (anyone other than a family member), an emergency contact and a tick box to confirm proof of ID seen.
From a potential volunteers initial enquiry, the process can be as quick as is suitable to the volunteer - you can start the following day!

Full training and ongoing support will be provided

Suitable for specific groups: Disabled (physical), Employee volunteering, Ex-offenders, Long term health condition, Older people, Refugees and asylum seekers, Unemployed

Type of activity: Retail - Charity shops etc.
