Volunteer Healthwatch Champions
Hosted by: Healthwatch Barnsley

Here at Healthwatch we want to hear from as many Barnsley people as possible about their experiences of Health and Social Care. The more information that we have, the stronger the evidence base we are able to present to service providers / commissioners to influence change where needed. We also like to tell them when things are working well. We have a small budget and a large remit and so, in order for us to achieve this we need your help.

We are looking for potential volunteers who would be willing to work with us in their own localities to help us to engage with the public over specific issues. This may be for a few hours every couple of months or a bit more frequently depending on what’s on the Healthwatch agenda. It can include:

· Going along to local events and telling people about our work
· Helping us carry out surveys and engagement
· Giving out information to local people
