About the Opportunity
Cochise is a company who specialise in HR guidance and coaching. Cochise have opened up an opportunity for 10 individuals to receive up to three 1–1.5-hour sessions of pro bono support with a seasoned HR professional and qualified executive coach.
Whether you're navigating complex change, growing your team, or simply need time and space to reflect on challenges and opportunities: this is a chance to explore, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.
Criteria
To apply for this opportunity, you need to be a manager or leader of a charity or social enterprise with an annual turnover of around £250k–£2m, and you have at least one layer of management in place.
Your organisation may be experiencing change, growth or increasing complexity and you may be:
• Restructuring or developing your leadership team
• Planning ahead for sustainability or succession
• Feeling the strain of delivering more with the same (or fewer) resources
• Keen to strengthen your leadership capacity and resilience
You might be looking for:
• A safe space to think aloud
• Insight into strategic people challenges
• A sounding board for organisational or leadership decisions
• Support in building confidence or clarity in uncertain times
You would be asked to complete a feedback and testimonial following the coaching time.
About the coach
The Cochise coach is an experienced HR leader with a background in supporting charities and purpose-led organisations through growth, challenge, and change. They are a qualified executive coach, working 1:1 with senior leaders to help them reflect, refocus and lead with impact.
Alongside their professional work, they have also served as a charity Trustee, giving them insight into the governance perspective and the pressures leaders face when balancing strategic vision, operational delivery, and accountability.
Their approach is:
• Straight-talking but compassionate
• Rooted in real-world leadership experience (both executive and non-executive)
• Focused on enabling you, not telling you what to do
Specifics
• Up to three 1:1 sessions, each lasting 60–90 minutes
• Sessions will be held via Teams or in person (depending on location and preference)
• There will be no charge for the time and no sales pitch or hidden agenda
• All conversations will be confidential and tailored to your needs
